Verify a SaferICO report
Every scan report carries an id. Enter it and you will see the address, the network, the date and the findings exactly as SaferICO recorded them — no account needed. If the paper in front of you disagrees with this page, trust this page.
The id is printed in the footer of the PDF, next to the QR code.
What this page proves, and what it does not.
It proves that SaferICO holds a record with this id — filed from a SaferICO account for this address on this date — and shows exactly what that record says. A document quoting different numbers has been altered. The fingerprint is a SHA-256 of the stored facts, so it detects an edited report — it is not a digital signature and does not prove authorship on its own; anyone can compute a SHA-256. What establishes authorship is that this record is served by saferico.com.
The 201-detector engine runs in the scanning visitor’s own browser. That is what keeps an unreleased contract off our servers, and the consequence is honest to state: the figures below are the ones that scan reported, not a number re-measured here. This page confirms which scan was filed, for which address, and when.
It does not turn an automated scan into a manual audit, and a scan that found nothing is not a guarantee that a contract is safe. Those limits are set out on the Security Suite page and they still apply here.
